Barnyard Friends

On a small farm near Smithsburg I found this group and took some time to get enough information to make a painting. The three sheep were not difficult to arrange in some kind of appealing composition, but I wanted the rooster to be in front of the group. After many tries it ended up this way. I like his attitude and one foot lifted, but I doubt that he is considered to be one of their friends.
