Windowsill (2018)

My wife's relatives lived in an old mansion near Emmitsburg, Maryland. I visited there and on one of the very deep windowsills in the kitchens was this box of blueberries. I remember picking blueberries with my grandparents and putting them in a box just like this one. This painting reminds me of those days. Completed 2003.
